Esade: New Global Executive MBA
The new Global Executive MBA that the Spanish business school Esade from Barcelona offers together with the McDonough School of Business and the Walsh School of Foreign Service at the Georgetown University in Washington D.C. started on June 19th. The 38 participants have 16 years career experience on average.
The new program is composed of six 11-day modules in D.C., Barcelona, São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Bangalore, Moscow and New York, and is intended to provide insight for the participants into the various business cultures and at the same time communicate the most important General Management tools. Through the cooperation with the renowned American diplomat school, the students receive a comprehensive look into the political, economic and legal framework of the global economy. In addition, each participant will benefit from customized leadership assessments and coaching sessions with experienced instructors from Esade’s Leadership and Development (LEAD) program.Each of the six modules has an overarching theme and comprises three courses and an in-depth case study, as well as visits to local companies and institutions. The first module in Washington D.C. focuses on the Global Environment of Business and includes courses on Business, Governance and the Global Economy, and International Business Management and Financial Statement Management. The integrative course focuses on the defense industry. Graduates receive an MBA from Georgetown and Esade. Tuition fees are 85,000 euros.
Georgetown University is the oldest and largest Catholic and Jesuit university in America, founded in 1789 by Archbishop John Carroll. The school now also has a campus in the emirate of Qatar.
The Esade Business School was founded by Jesuits and is one of the leading Spanish business schools.
