Iese: New program for young professionals

With its new Young Talent Program (YTP), the Spanish business school Iese offers university graduates without career experience not only pre-admission to the MBA program, but also a position in a leading firm, which will sponsor their future MBA.
Iese: New program for young professionals
Interested students with a university degree can apply for the program and, if they are chosen for pre-admission to the MBA program, they are then presented to top companies for recruitment opportunities. Included among the companies are McKinsey & Co., Johnson and Johnson, the Boston Consulting Group, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Novartis and the two banks BBVA and Santander. If candidates are offered a contract with a participating firm, they are officially admitted into the YTP Program.

Candidates will then work two years for the company before beginning the MBA program (funded by the company) at Iese in Barcelona. Afterwards, they will return to their employer. The business school is following the Harvard Business School’s lead. The US school introduced a similar program (HBS 2+2) in 2007 for college students, in order to attract young and talented students to the school as early as possible.

Iese is among the leading European business schools. The school belongs to the catholic laymen organization Opus Dei.
