European business schools dominated the Financial Times’ masters in management ranking for 2012. The University of St Gallen placed first followed by ESCP Europe, Cems, HEC Paris, Essec Business School, IE Business School, Esade Business School and Rotterdam School of Management.
HHL Leipzig Graduate School of Management in Germany jumped 12 spots to 11th position and Warwick Business School in the UK went 13 places up to 35th position. The highest ranked school outside of Europe was the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad on 10th place.
The Financial Times’ ranking was compiled after surveying graduates from 2009 according to criteria like diversity, alumni career progression and international exposure for example.
