BCG: Companies need recruiting strategy

Dr. Rainer Strack, Partner and Managing Director of the Boston Consulting Group, discussed the topics of recruiting, strategy and marketing in particular in a 20-minute interview at the Spanish business school IESE.
Given the upcoming retirement of the baby boomers, companies must find a way to retain their expertise within the company, and at the same time promote the development of staff in a way that makes sense.
Against this backdrop it is particularly important that companies acquire new talent. The challenge for companies lies in establishing a worldwide recruiting strategy. The key questions in the matter: "What is our recruiting strategy, what is our marketing campaign, which Indian or Chinese universities should we recruit from?
