Insead: New job board for alumni
Business Schools Bärbel Schwertfeger - 09.25.2008
In the future, all members of an alumni club at the French top school Insead will gain access to a new job board.
The project is set to begin at the end of the year. Companies can then download candidates' resumes for a small fee. The business school has already signed such a contract with the international personnel consulting company Korn&Ferry.
There are already various offers on career planning and job searching in 42 countries at the alumni clubs. Theses range from coaching to contact with headhunters right through to workshops on topics such as re-entry into a job.
At Insead, the participants of the career-accompanying Executive MBA also have access to the school's career service. Those interested we put in contact with a headhunter, explains Career Director Sandra Schwarzer. Ultimately, jobs on this level are not allocated through the personnel department. But there is one rule: Those who are sponsored more than 50 percent by their employer do not receive access to headhunters and the internal job database.
