The Bond MBA is a generalist degree based on three pillars – leadership, global business and corporate entrepreneurship. It is designed to transform specialists into managers. The program covers 10 discipline areas, recognised as key components of the management function. These include financial accounting, business research methods, management, marketing, finance, economics, management accounting, strategy, international business and entrepreneurship.
In the final semester, students complete a capstone strategy course integrating the 10 disciplines to cement their understanding of the subject matter.
MBA SPECIALISATIONS Students have the option of undertaking an MBA specialisation in a discipline based area. The standard MBA is 12 subjects; an MBA with a specialisation is 15 subjects. A specialisation enables students to focus on an area of interest and further prepare them for specialised management positions.

• Students participate in a three day orientation exercise at O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat designed to integrate the team and develop a cohesive cohort which remains together for the year long program.
• The Bond MBA program has a diverse international cohort with over 20 nationalities evenly represented. This enables students to develop cultural literacy and have experience in cross cultural situations. It also gives students international contacts and networks which can benefit their career.
• Bond’s MBA program has a number of flexible add-ons which distinguish it from other universities, including the unique Family Enterprise specialisation.The MBA (Professional) program is designed for international students and consists of the standard 12-subject MBA curriculum with the addition of a 45-credit point Work Integrated Learning (WIL) subject. The subject is designed to promote and support learning, personal development and professional development. The MBA (Professional) program is CRICOS registered for 92-weeks.
The 2011 Good Universities Guide gave Bond University Five-Star Graduate Outcomes for graduate satisfaction, positive graduate outcomes, graduate starting salary, teaching quality, staff to student ratio, and staff qualification. The 2011 Excellence in Research for Australia scored 4 out of 5 (regarded as “above world standard”) for research in Business and Management.
