Ceu Business School
Central European University Business School is a US accredited and licensed management school in Budapest, in the heart of new Europe.
Being part of Central European University it was founded by a group of visionary leaders, including George Soros in 1988. Since it is situated in Budapest, one of the most dynamic and vibrant cities of Central Europe, both the well established business routines of the West and the initiative power of the East make great influence on the atmosphere of the institution, which has a truly international set of students and teachers. It is also a landmark institution as it is the first school in Central Eastern Europe to offer graduate business education leading to an American MBA. In today’s volatile market situation, being in the heart of change for twenty years gives great opportunity to teach what the school knows the best, how to manage and lead the change.
The business school is devoted not only to teach its students how to conduct business in a complex society, but to also introduce them to a higher business culture of enhanced social values so that they better understand the socio-political factors that impact their business, and conversely, how their business strategies and tactics can also severely affect society, the economy, governments and last but not least, the environment. This is the core essence of the School’s Transnational Leadership concept brought into perfection for both undergraduate and graduate levels to contribute to the necessary paradigm shift what the global economy truly needs.
