The IMB Institute of Management Berlin of the Berlin School of Economics and Law (BSEL) offers international post-graduate qualifications in management with an applied approach. With 19 years of experience offering MBA courses and well over 1,000 graduates, the IMB has established a reputation as an innovative and quality-aware provider of post-graduate management training.

The General Management MBA programme at the IMB with its various specific focuses has a strong international dimension. The programme takes a strongly applied approach and, through the interactive design of the seminars, also facilitates the integration of issues from the professional areas of the participants.

Pathway specialisations support participants in pursuing their own individual career goals. The MBA can either be taken as a full-time (15 months) or part-time (24 months) programme:

MBA (part-time):
- in International Management
- in Entrepreneurship
- in Change Management
- in Health Care Management
- in Pharmaceutical Management

MBA (full-time):
- in European Management
- in European-Asian Management
- in Transatlantic Management

Applicants to the MBA programmes are required to have a university degree, at least three years of business experience, and a very good command of English. The programme always begins at the start of the winter semester.

To support the development of young female executives, the University offers a number of partial bursaries for women every year. In addition, there are two students bursaries generously provided by companies.
