Fachhochschule Würzburg-Schweinfurt

The University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt was founded in 1971 out of a “technical school” on the basis of the Bavarian “Fachhochschulgesetz”. The two departments of the university are located in the lower Franconian cities Wuerzburg and Schweinfurt. After Munich and Nuremberg, the University of Applied Sciences Wuerzburg-Schweinfurt is the third largest of the 17 state runned universities of applied sciences in Bavaria. To meet the new business criteria for modern executives, the faculty decided to create an MBA program, which combined the classical management education together with an international context, by considering new boosting economic regions. As a result, the MBA program “International Business with Focus on Asia, Western Europe or Central and Eastern Europe “ had been established. The faculties MBA combination of the foci “Asia” and “Western Europe or Central and Eastern Europe” is a very young project . Beneath the general management education, students will be able to choose one of the three directions. Depending on the focus, the students will receive language lectures and will be taught in cultural manners in the country of destination.
