This 24-month MBA program is offered in cooperation with Leibniz Universität Hannover. It is aimed at young academics with first work experience with the potential to take on management responsibility within their companies. On 18 weekends a year (Friday and Saturday) as well as during phases of self-study, GISMA students are brought up to speed on the very latest management methods and problem-solving approaches for real-world challenges – with the added advantage of being able to immediately put their newly acquired knowledge to the test in their jobs. Many of our teachers come from our partner Purdue University and bring the quality of the Krannert School of Management

This 11-month MBA full-time program is offered uniquely in cooperation with Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, Indiana, USA and Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany. True to the nature of genuine general management education, the program is open to all qualified individuals, regardless of their professional or cultural backgrounds. A previous degree in business or economics is not required.  
The curriculum initially places a strong emphasis on management fundamentals, with a gradual shift towards more elective courses and increasing specialization over time. Case studies, group assignments and simulations are all among the experiential methods used to ensure that students are exposed to a maximum of intercultural, interdisciplinary teamwork and problem-solving. Forum Days are another way to gain valuable insight: One day a week, guest speakers come to share their business experience with GISMA students and illustrate the true meaning of applied management. Excursions give students up-close exposure to the real world.
The Consulting Project is a highly recommended elective in which students master real business challenges in small teams, under the guidance of a professor and in close interaction with the company involved. This four-month assignment calls upon students to apply everything they have learned: critical thinking, case analysis, quantitative methods and at the end of the project decision-making on the basis of sound data.

GISMA Business School’s International Master’s in Management Program (IMM) is an extra-occupational Executive MBA curriculum for individuals from all over the world who have the potential to advance to executive positions in their globally active companies or institutions. The IMM is offered by GISMA in cooperation with three other prominent business schools: Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management (USA), Tias Business School of the Tilburg University & Technische Universiteit Eindhoven (the Netherlands), and Central European University’s CEU Business School (Hungary). IMM graduates earn both an American and a European MBA. This 22-month program enables participants to achieve the best possible work/life/study balance. New knowledge and skills can be applied immediately on the job. The IMM is internationally accredited by the AACSB and the AMBA, and ranks among the Top 20 such programs throughout the world. The program consists of three modules, with each module featuring two 14-day residencies at the four cooperating business schools or in Shanghai. During non-residential intervals, participants engage in about 15 to 20 hours of home study per week. Each module finishes with a two-day exam period on site at one of the cooperating business schools.
