Our Executive MBA program „Business Integration“ teaches General Management according to the status quo of research and practice. Unlike other MBA programs, we do not only concentrate on teaching traditional management theories, since we point underline the enormous impact modern information systems have on daily business life. Because of this, our students are prepared to deal sufficiently and successfully with complex business tasks and to make their decisions based on the results derived from integrated information systems. The classes are a mix of participants of different industries and areas. All students have experienced different ways of education and are working in different small, medium or large sized companies. The diverse backgrounds enrich the exchange between the students unspeakable. The emerging network is especially useful related to the versatile professional backgrounds of the participants. The lectures are given during 7 x 2 weeks module-based classes. In contrast to weekend-classes, this kind of teaching structure enables students to concentrate on the different topics. Our experience indicates that the intensity of learning improves tremendously. Two of modules take place at our partner universities in the United States: Boston University (Boston, Massachusetts) and Florida Gulf University (Fort Myers, Florida). The relationships between Wuerzburg University and our AACSB-accredited partner universities are established since many years.
