Leeds University Business School
Set in England’s top financial and legal services centre after London, the school is well positioned to deliver a high quality education in a lively and exciting environment. The Business School’s state-of-the-art home is located at the western end of the University of Leeds campus, in the Maurice Keyworth Building. It’s a beautiful site which has been cleverly renovated and modernised, from its former function as a grammar school, to host excellent facilities for learning, teaching and research. The school has two on-site lecture theatres both equipped with the latest AV technology.
For quiet, individual study, there is the Postgraduate Study Centre. This area is wireless connected, so that students can use their own laptops for private work. In addition there is a large purpose built IT cluster for postgraduates only. These PCs run a range of software programmes and allow internet and email access, as well as access to restricted online library resources, and IT support. Leeds also has one of the UK’s best academic research libraries, with over 2.782 million books, and 9,500 printed and online journals. Dedicated free student support services are available to help you make the most of your time with us. We offer a career development programme organised by the dedicated Careers Centre as well as support in securing and managing the MBA project. The Project provides an opportunity to apply learning to the real world of business. It can enhance career prospects by demonstrating to prospective employers that you can deliver results and add value.
The Leeds MBA is international in outlook and design. Our students come from six continents as do our staff. The result is that students quickly learn to adopt a global perspective and feel comfortable dealing with people and situations for around the world. With over 10,000 alumni, our alumni community also stretches across the world. The dedicated Alumni Association can keep you in touch with the School after graduation by updating you with news, events (both in the UK and overseas), career information and resources as well as connecting you to your fellow alumni.
