The MBA program is offered by both universities in Santander and Kiel since 2003 and takes place at both universities. The Universidad de Cantabria in Santander is one of the most famous Spanish universities and long-standing partners of the Universitiy of Applied Sciendes in Kiel. Our MBA program for postgraduate is an interesting alternative to the rising number of purely English-speaking MBAs and gives important impulses for your future professional career. We concentrate our education activities upon a part of the international job market which has gained in last decades substantially in importance.
We talk about Spanish speaking countries. To these belong, additionally to Spain, almost all countries of Latin America and the Caribbean islands. On account of the demographic development of Spanish speaking citizen in North America, the United States of America represent an interesting job market too. Internationally operating companies search increasingly executives able to work succesfully at the same time in English-speaking and Spanish-speaking markets. As our MBA takes place most of the time in Spain and with an important number of courses and projects held in Spanish enables future managers to do their jobs. We devote ourself to intensive individual student care, as well as by the orientation of our education towards practise. The lecturers accompany the students in small groups during the whole study time and develop together with them in individual consultation professional perspectives.
To realize a high practise relation in the short study time of 3 semesters, we have developed contents in cooperation with business partners (e.g., Deutsche Telekom, Bosch, Hewlett Packard) and integrated an obliging 4-month company training period in the third semester. This training period can be credited in case of a steady employment. Additionally we engage exclusively doctorate awarded teachers with varied practise experience in the labour market as well as executives from international enterprises as lecturers.
